According to the dictionary, “szutka” is a joke. Its synonyms are, among others, jest, frolic, prank, and wisecrack. In Polish, “sztuka” means art. Well, typos happen.

On his deathbed, Johann Wolfgang Goethe is believed to have said, “Open the second shutter, so that more light can come in”. These last words gave room to various interpretations, racking the brains of scholars in the following centuries. There is also a theory that what he actually said was, “Nothing more”. Regardless of what the poet really said and thought, Kilgore Trout, one of the characters in Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five, did say, “All these years, I've been opening the window and making love to the world”.
